Synthesis on Scale V:

Process Chemistry in the Pharmaceutical Industry

Friday, January 12, 2024

Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology (CCB), Rutgers University

Sponsored by

Princeton Section of the ACS and Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology, Rutgers U.

This year's theme, "Synthesis on Scale: Process Chemistry in the Pharmaceutical Industry," promises to bring together leading minds in chemistry to discuss and share groundbreaking techniques and innovations. The symposium will feature a series of insightful talks from distinguished speakers, including Harshkumar Patel from Bristol-Myers Squibb, Kevin Campos from Merck, Chris Senanayake from TCG GreenChem, and Prof. Kendall Houk from UCLA. They will cover a range of topics from sustainable synthetic routes, innovations in synthetic chemistry, novel synthetic approaches, to computational elucidation of pericyclic reactions in synthesis and biosynthesis.
